Khao Tao murder case has been in highlight of the media for a while already . When I started setting this blog, I've told myself that I will never write anything about politic here. But regardless of this, I've seen so many news and articles about the case and I just feel like I need someone to talk to. There are so many loop holes in the case and the way the Thai police handle the case? doesn't make any sense for me AT ALL!! So these are just purely my thoughts and views, I'm not saying for sure about anything.
First of all, even primary school student would know that in the case of murder , all evidence are crucial and they should have collect them carefully. But thai police let people to come in and out of the crime scene recklessly.
Second is that they asked and get so called "confession" from the accused without the present of their lawyer. From what I know, all the criminals have the right to get a lawyer before the interrogation. Even they couldn't afford the lawyer , police should arrange one for them .
Thirdly, no matter how hard they are trying to say there is solid evidence for the murder. All of their so called evidences have loop holes and not strong enough for the public to accept. I'm not trying to say that the accused are not real killer. They may or may not be the real killers but I'm not convinced yet.
Some more, I'm scared that in the case of the accused may not be the real killers , they are in really dangerous position. From what I see, the police keeps on insisting that they got the right guys and if people from all over the world find out that they are not right, their reputation will be ruined . So they will stubbornly keep insist that they got the right guys and will try to punish them for the sake of their reputation unless a miracle will happen.
There is no way that British and Myanmar will interrupt the investigation of Thai police. After all, it's nation's affair. Anyway, I just want the truth to be come out. The deceased and their families deserve the truth and same goes for the accused and their families.
I used to love visiting to Thailand . I just made my fourth trip last year. But if this case ever close without any hard evidence which can convince me, I swear myself that I will never step a foot in Thailand. I'm scared of dying when my murderers will be walking free as if they never did anything to me. And I'm scared of getting punished without doing anything wrong and being scapegoat.
